The compass is seated in an iron ship window. Look closely and you can see its mechanical components—the hinge on one side and latch on the other.

The sides of the ring feature sea-charts (incase you get lost).

This piece is the lighter-weight counterpart to the Navigator ring.

This is of course limited to manufacturer defects, as defined here, and not mishandling of your jewelry. Proper love should still be given to your collection to ensure its longevity.
